New History of Humanity - The history of humankind revised.

Humans, the dominant life form on Earth. A 7 billion strong planet wide race of 'space traveling' (questionable) bipedal apes capable of great technological marvels and constant innovation. We became this wondrous people from a loose band of hunter-gatherers, scattered around the globe some 10,000 years ago.
Before that time, humans are made out to be nomadic hunter-gatherers - cavemen. An illiterate people, lacking the ability to navigate the seas or cultivate crops. Isolated communities of tribes living a simple existence. Lacking the wheel, or knowledge of the stars, they built no lasting monuments or structures of any kind anywhere. We are told that the current epoch of civilization & technology represents humanity's one and only rise to advanced civilization and global influence.
But this is not the case.
