We are extremely excited to unveil the Swift Cruiser 17.8 solo canoe for 2025. Our existing Cruiser 15.8 and Cruiser 16.8 are extremely popular as both solo canoes and pack boats for long distance paddlers -- everything from multi-day trippers to exercise paddlers to marathon racers. Thanks to input from our friends, three-time Olympian Terry Kent and ultra-distance paddler Jeremy Vore from RedLeaf designs, we've tweaked the Cruiser 16.8 to add additional performance and handling characteristics. The Cruiser 17.8 is a little longer, a little narrower, and a little more speed-oriented than the 16.8. Designed strictly as a solo canoe, the Cruiser 17.8 is excellent for racers, hardcore paddlers, and long distance trippers.
