"The Patriot PRO is Helikon-Tex's high-performance answer to the classic fleece. It uses the new STORMFLEECE™ material, which is only 256 grams per square meter, making it exceptionally light. The key here is wind resistance – this jacket acts like a hybrid, giving you the breathability of fleece but with much better protection against the elements. It features a modern, streamlined cut, a two-way YKK zipper with a storm flap, and a functional five-pocket layout, all designed for speed and efficiency in the wilderness."
The Patriot Mk2 is the modern evolution of Helikon-Tex's classic fleece. They swapped the heavy old material for a 340-gram Hybrid Fleece with a grid structure. This means you get the same warmth, but the jacket is significantly lighter and more breathable, making it perfect for active bushcrafting or hiking. The fit is slimmer, and the pocket system is redesigned: we now have seven functional, easy-access pockets, and they kept the essential zippered armpit vents for maximum comfort."
