You can appreciate a tradition without needing to make it yours.

Sometimes we’re called to learn. Sometimes we’re called to listen. Sometimes we’re simply called to witness, appreciate, and recognize the beauty of a tradition while respecting that it isn’t ours to practice. And that’s okay.
Curiosity doesn’t have to become ownership. Respecting a boundary doesn’t make your spiritual practice smaller. Sometimes, it’s part of what makes us better practitioners.
