In this episode of New Education Systems, Layman meets with Bruce Alderman at his cottage near the Ganges river to discuss Bruce's experience teaching at alternative educational institutions, particularly the Krishnamurti School in Rajghat, India, and John F Kennedy University. Bruce contextualizes the Krishnamurti School project against the 19th century Theosophical search for a new paradigm, and the early socialist experiments in integral education, and discusses the ways it anticipates more recent efforts to develop AQAL-based curricula at JFKU and other educational institutions.

Bruce Alderman is an affiliate professor in the Consciousness and Transformative Studies department at John F. Kennedy University, and formerly worked as an ESL teacher in Korea and Indonesia, as well as a creative writing and "Culture Class" instructor at the Rajghat Besant School in Varanasi, India.
