Holy crap this is incredibly sad. This is literally the first fictional thing that has actually made me cry. It's so heartbreaking the voice acting is so perfect that it just hurts to much more. Saihara literally sound like he's broken inside.

So after the mastermind (Tsumugi) proves to the 3 survivors Saihara, Maki and Himiko that they are only fiction they all break down and fall into despair. They completely give up and realize that they are in a hopeless situation where they never actually existed and were only created for the sake of entertaining the public in this reality show killing game AKA Danganronpa 53. To make it even worse Tsumugi is constantly taunting them the whole time and everything becomes to much for Saihara so he just gives up and breaks down completely.
