We were wracking our brains over what we could do for our Cradle animation Kickstarter before it closes this Friday at 5 PM Eastern. We decided to jump forward to the Stretch Goal Reward we had been saving for $3.6M: a new novel-length collection of Cradle stories.
In other words, I'm writing a new Cradle book!
This is NOT a post-Waybound Cradle novel, but a collection of stories that take place before, during, and after the events of the Cradle series.
After backing any reward tier of the Kickstarter, you’ll have the option to select add-ons, which is how you purchase the backer-exclusive version of the ebook ($15) and/or audiobook ($25, performed by Travis Baldree of course).
These come with an alternate cover, additional bloopers, and a special thanks message that may or may not be an encoded cry for help.
We will release this book to general audiences, but backers get a special edition and they get it one month prior to the release of the standard version.
Fair warning: this hasn't been written yet! You'll have to wait until 2025 to consume it. Download your preferred digital version of the new story to keep, and read it (or listen to it!) one month before anyone else!
