256PiMusic | New Compilations: Digitized Replicas & Top Of The Comps @256PiMusic | Uploaded July 2018 | Updated October 2024, 9 hours ago.
Two new disappointingly pointless releases to celebrate the 10th anniversary of my first album Bubble.Machine!
Digitized Replicas: 256pi.bandcamp.com/album/digitized-replicas-comp
Top of the Comps: open.spotify.com/album/5wESddm5E7v8wfREwwv9Rl
Digitized Replicas is a collection of FL Studio remakes of old album tracks. So, stuff that was previously made using loops & sample packs was transcribed into midi & synth sequences, which took a while and isn't quite like the originals. So hey, not entirely pointless, right? Whatever, it was a lot of fun to make.
Top Of The Comps meanwhile is just a collection of tracks from my Bandcamp exclusive compilations over the years, for all the other major platforms like Spotify and iTunes. This one is entirely pointless if you've already heard those comps, but if you haven't it makes a decent introduction to that stuff. Obviously not on Bandcamp because it has absolutely no reason to be there, but I suppose it serves something resembling a purpose.
