Humphrey Wittingtonsworth IV | new clock mechanism experiments (no frame bumps) @HumphreyWittingtonsworthIV | Uploaded January 2020 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
just experimenting with ways to make clock better
i made a drop-in insert that indexes the clock without bumps. This means the gears don’t jump around at all, and they don’t have to do the weird wobble thing that normal clock does.
However, this causes a lockup with the buttons, and that’s bad, and a well broken in clock with normal mechanism can outperform this, since it doesn’t have those lockups.
this was just a cool experiment i wanted to share, and imma name this mechanism after my homie mikey, I call it the McNeill Mechanism
