Clip Studio Paint is a step-by-step course for creating an entire animated short using Clip Studio Paint, from first sketches to a final edit.

Clip Studio Paint started as a tool for manga and comics but is now used by top animators in the industry.

In this course, we'll go through the entire production pipeline, including script breakdown, visual development, storyboarding, animatics, animation, compositing, and editing.

We start with the simplest shot and move up in complexity, learning the different animation tools as we go.

We'll also cover the powerful free editing software DaVinci Resolve and its built-in compositing tool, Fusion. We'll use it to composite our shots for a polished finished result.
