In 2024, Denver Water transferred ownership of 45 miles of the historic High Line Canal to Arapahoe County and placed a conservation easement on the stretch that will be held by the High Line Canal Conservancy. The easement will protect the canal as a natural, open space corridor forever. #highlinecanal
