Installing a new carburetor? Stop before you bolt it on. In this video, I walk through the critical checks you MUST do before installing any aftermarket carb, using a Holley 4777 and Edelbrock 1406 as examples. One common mistake people make is assuming that a carburetor can be bolted on right out of the box and all will be well. Its not. Far from it. Universal carburetors must be set up and inspected BEFORE they are installed. New carburetor problems have complained about all over the internet, but in most cases, they can be cured if you follow these 7 steps I provide in the video.
