State regulators are strengthening the rules when it comes to what is fire safe and that will mean homeowners across California are going to have to make some changes around their properties.
Last week the California Board of Forestry and Fire Protection approved Zone Zero, which is designed to improve defensible space within 5 feet of homes in critical fire areas.
