This week in the PlayStation realm we have a new beta that just went live for the Welcome Hub on PS5 and the Read Receipts feature now being available for most users. There's also the new PS Plus Extra & November lineup where we can see Sony is walking away from PS VR2 games on Premium. Total bummer! However they're NOT walking away from Japan with this recent report that the CEO is more motivated to get Sony back on the map in the region. We also have Concord making a huge comeback! And then Sony said 'not on my watch'. If they can't sell Concord, NO ONE CAN HAVE IT. Elsewhere in the week there's the 2025 Game Awards nominees, and a solid Xbox Partner Showcase. Not too shabby. I think I'll wrap up this description now.
