When I started working on the Bag Charm, I knew I did not want to make another decorative charm.
There are plenty of cute charms already. I wanted ours to feel unmistakably Sterling Ink.
That meant making it as a real miniature notebook.
We used actual 52gsm Tomoe River Paper inside, with 272 grid pages and a hardcover construction. The paper and page count were important to me because I wanted this tiny version to replicate the Sterling Ink notebooks you already know and use.
It may hang from your bag, but you can open it, write in it, and fill every page.
Seeing one of our notebooks recreated at this size makes me ridiculously happy. It is functional, a little unexpected, and honestly so cute.
The Bag Charm will come in four colors:
- Mulberry
- Onyx
- Caramel
- Fairyfloss
The release is Monday, September 7th at 10am ET along with the rest of our 2027 Planners.
I cannot wait to see these clipped onto your bags and filled with your tiniest notes.
