This is the new Assault Rifle for Space Engineers 2! It’s a part of the upcoming Major Update for the game. This being VS2.2, which, along with Weapons like the Assault Rifle, also introduces Mechanical Blocks, Combat Basics, Area Welding and Production Lines to the game.
The design of this Assault Rifle looks really good and fits the aesthetic of Space Engineers 2 well. In terms of the sound, the rifle sounds very heavy. See what I mean in this preview
Honestly, it reminds me of the Commando Rifle from HALO Infinite, if you have played that game. Through the preview clips released for Space Engineers 2, we’re also able to see the damage the weapon does to grids.
What do you think of the design of this Assault Rifle? Of course, Space Engineers #1 has had a variety of weapons for sometime now, so while this isn’t exactly new, it’s still cool to see more come to Space Engineers 2
