I have a new live-to-tape modular synthesizer album to be released 4/20/24! This is a sample of the only track to include prerecorded elements, to be heavily processed of course! From the liner notes to this track:
This piece is both an elegy and an exploration of the myopic nature of memory. In some of my own reflections, I realized that perhaps the deep sadness associated with the loss of a conscious being is not only due to their absence, but also the subliminal knowledge that, in our memories of them, the specificities will melt away over time, a countenance forever receding into the void.
