So I finally bit the bullet and got a 3d printer. I have been wanting to play around with one of these since they first started to come down in price. The unit I purchased is a LulzBot Taz 4 from these guys, check it out.

My initial impressions are all positive with no issues at this time. Also the quality of the prints is way better than expected.
