Just to clarify, Cal isn’t a demon version of Spike. My friend thought he was and I realized he kind of looks like it- Also I love Spike so much he’s so dumb and adorable aa-
I made it kinda look like Cal hurt Spike or something but don’t worry they’re best friends!
Story - Basically Spike has trust issues after one of his family members was killed by a family friend. He moved away after the incident and made Cal promise he would still be in the town when he came back to visit, but Cal was killed for not going through with a deal with Jackie before Spike came back, so Spike kind of resented him.
Edit: Cal no longer dies because I need him later on in the story lmao
Fun Fact - Cal once had his spine ripped out for cheating in Kahoot (in the canon universe, this is an alternate universe I made specifically for making animation memes!)
