As a family tradition, the day after Thanksgiving we set up our Christmas tree. We called some of our best friends

In this episode, we’re sharing a few chapters from our lives that remind us just how meaningful connection really is. From decorating our Christmas tree at home (a rare and special choice for our family) to soaking in quiet moments together during the holidays, this season felt extra grounding and full of heart.
One of the most emotional highlights was watching Dorothy’s dream come true. Over the last few years, she’s fallen in love with directing and storytelling, and seeing her meet her hero, and experience the Wicked Part 2 premiere, was one of those parenting moments that stays with you forever. If our kids are going to have heroes, we’re grateful they’re people who inspire creativity, kindness, and courage.
We also share a glimpse into Garrett’s birthday, and the decision to step away for a much-needed boys’ trip with close friends, including time in Waco surfing, laughing, wiping out, and choosing play as adults. There is something powerful about showing up for friendship, being bad at something together, and leaving more full than when you arrived. We’re so thankful for those friendships and for the reminder that joy doesn’t disappear as we grow older!

We’re beyond excited to finally share something (AND WE WILL SHARE MORE LATER!) that started as a simple invitation and turned into a full-blown creative passion project, custom soccer jerseys that Garrett designed from the ground up. What began as sponsoring a team quickly became an opportunity to pour thought, meaning, and intention into every detail, from the look and feel to the story behind them. These aren’t just jerseys; they represent community, showing up for people, and doing things with purpose and heart.
