So this is a song I wrote for a friend. You are inspiring and beautiful my dude, never settle for anything less than you deserve.

After releasing my first EP this summer, I’ve received many inspiring messages from you guys and I’m truly humbled to hear how it has been able to help some of you. When I finished writing this song for my friend, I realized how refreshing it was to get out of my own head and challenge myself to get into a different mindset. I’ve written multiple songs meant for myself and only for myself, however, I want to get out of my comfort zone and take on the challenge of writing songs for you!
I got this idea from UsTheDuo and thought it was such a great way to connect with you all! So I have opened up an email (songsforyoubymarylou@gmail.com) and would be honoured to hear about your story. I will try my best to read and reply to them but hope to post a song about one each month. I’m not that great with words so I thought I’d try expressing through songs how grateful I am to have you guys along with me on my journey! :)
