Womp Stomp Films | Never Hike Alone: A Friday the 13th Fan Film | Early 2016 Test Footage | (2016) HD @WompStompFilms | Uploaded October 2020 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Never before behind the scene footage of what went into the making of "Never Hike Alone"'s first official trailer.
These clips were captured by the original Womp Stomp Films team of Vincente DiSanti, Christopher Thellas, Kyle Klein, and Jonathan Cabrera using locations that were scouted by DiSanti in 2014.
As you can see, several of these locations were eventually used in the film's first trailer as well as the film itself. We used the Black Magic Cinema 4K on both this and the first trailer. We switched to the Sony A7S II shortly after.
Jason, played by DiSanti is only partially seen in this test as the costume was still in development and we were not happy with how it was looking. As you can see, the yellow axe has been a part of the production from the very beginning.
Producer Kyle Klein stood in for the character of "Kyle McLeod." He was joined by his faithful dog, Kioshi.

First Ac / Key Grip: Jonathan Cabrera

Shot on: Black Magic Cinema 4K
