NOTE: I tried posting this LP a few months ago in its entirety and ran into copyright blocks. I am trying again with the sides separated and hopefully this will be all right. YouTube sometimes works in funny ways.
** TIME JUMPS IN DESCRIPTION **
Gloria Gaynor's debut album was released this week in January 1975 and holds the distinction of being the first disco LP featuring a complete side of uninterrupted music. Side one strings together the hits "Honey Bee", "Never Can Say Goodbye" and "Reach Out, I'll Be There" into an 18-minute continuous mix while side two contains five songs in a more traditional presentation. I had a difficult time finding a quiet copy of this LP but ended up with a very nice Japanese pressing which solved the noise issues.

Recorded using a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO turntable with Acryl-It platter, record clamp and AT VM540ML cart. All records are cleaned on a VPI 16.5 with Adobe Audition CC used for recording and processing with clicks removed manually.

Gloria Gaynor recorded a Spanish language version of I Will Survive at some point during the songs successful run in 1978-79. Polydor released a new 12 single with the disco smash original on side 1 and this Spanish version on the other. Hoping someone has more information on this alternate version.

Bonnie Tylers biggest hit was written and produced by Jim Steinman, best known for his work with Meatloaf on Bat Out Of Hell. The single reached #1 on the U.S. singles chart and in other countries. The only 12 single I could find with the full album version was released in Australia, so this recording is taken from the LP. Bonnie is backed by some great musicians including Rick Derringer, Max Weinberg and Roy Bittan. The other vocalist is Rory Dodd (turn around...).
