Executive final presentation of an innovative study on measuring and using optical flow data performed by researchers of the ESA Advanced Concepts Team and the Université de la Méditerranée, Aix-Marseille II, France.
The main focus of the study was to better understand how insects navigate, land and takeoff and how to implement their very robust and efficient system into technical solutions for e.g. planetary landers.
