Today is #worldautismday and you may or may not be surprised to learn that a large % of audio talent are ‘Neurodivergent”. We’ve had lots of great feedback regarding our podcast episode discussing #neurodivergence in the audio and #musicindustry and we wanted to reshare with you. In this episode Ashea chats with Alex west, radio presenter and artist manager who has presented for BBC radio and KM FM about navigating neurodivergence and ADHD (the challenges and the unique positives).
We are serious about making the industry a more inclusive and fair place for everyone, and that includes discussing with our community of professionals how to make the day to day life of neurodivergent people more enjoyable and less stressful, then implementing what we learn.
It starts with awareness and requires understanding of differences in sensory processing, communication and executive function.
The full episode can be accessed via our LINK IN DESCRIPTION, on our blog, or on Spotify & Apple Podcasts.
If you are neurodivergent and working in audio & music we would love to hear about your experience. Comment below or contact us directly.
