TJBChris | Network 3: The First Practical TRS-80 Model 12-CoCo Setup @TJBChris | Uploaded August 2024 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
The Tandy Color Computer finally has a practical use of the TRS-80 Network 3 controller! The CoCo can now send and receive files using the CoCo's DLOAD protocol and built-in serial printer functionality via the Network 3 to a host computer: A TRS-80 Model 12. This brings to life a promised-but-never-delivered configuration for the Network 3 controller. I wrote a Network 3-and-DLOAD-compatible program, N3DLOAD, to bring it all together. In this video, I demonstrate my solution using my TRS-80 Model 12, a TRS-80 Color Computer, a 64K Color Computer, and a Tandy Color Computer 2. You'll also get some detail and history for Network 3.
