Ever since last year when the FCC reclassified ISPs as Title II common carriers, the internet companies have been fighting to have this classification reversed. However, this week the internet companies lost their appeal, meaning they will remain as Title II common carriers. It's not over however, because they plan to appeal to the US Supreme Court next.
