At Nestlé we help protect and steward water resources. We will lead the regeneration of the water cycle to help create a positive water impact by 2025. What is a positive water impact? It’s when we contribute to making more water available within the watershed than we use annually. We will do this through projects that help improve the local environment’s ability to retain water.
This project pairs Nestlé with local authorities to help improve water quality and access in the community surrounding the Nestlé Waters factory in Gamgara, Egypt. The focus is on the local canal that is not only essential for water processing, but also for the surrounding area’s agriculture. Watch to see the inspiring before and after!
