Nestlé has built the UAE’s largest ground-mounted private solar plant, which has begun generating renewable energy at Nestlé Middle East’s Al Maha factory in Dubai.

Nestlé announced its ambition to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. This embraces the most ambitious aim of the Paris Agreement, to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C. One of the key targets is to use 100% renewable electricity in all Nestlé factories, warehouses, logistics and offices.
