In this video I take a look over a vintage Ness Entity 5+ alarm system from around 1986 and explore some of the old-school technology used in alarm systems during the 1980s.
Ness is a well-known Australian security brand, and this panel is now around 40 years old. While these systems are no longer installed today, it’s interesting to see how alarm systems were designed and built decades ago before modern smart alarms and app-controlled security existed.
