EmeraldoTheDragon | NES Remix - Final Fantasy IV - Final Battle @EmeraldoTheDragon | Uploaded July 2009 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
The catchy final battle music in 8-bit form. I had a little problem with the rapid notes partway after the start of the song, but nothing insolvable. The rest of the song was easy. For the trumpet part at the end before the song loops, I had to make a separate instrument with an arpeggio so that it could play 3 notes while still adhering to the 4/4 time signature.
I couldn't find a GIF or PNG screenshot of this part of the game, so I downloaded a savestate and took a screen capture of my own on an emulator. For all you Kain fans out there, I took the shot just as Kain got into his "ready" pose. You may also notice that Rosa's 8-bit battle sprite has been tweaked since the Golbez and Calcobrena battle mock-ups. I made it a little better-looking by making her headdress parts visible and recolouring her shoulder pads.
