Let’s see.. About this song.. Well, I guess it should be kinda self-explanatory. I think everyone has been nervous at some point in their life. Since Michelle and I have both been performing since we were very young, we’re no stranger to the cold feeling you get in your stomach right before you go on stage (I.E. Tender Taps), and even though we’ve both pretty much gotten over it (sure you have Gabe), we thought we’d write a song that hopefully a lot of people could relate to. Whether you're speaking at school, performing at the Grammy's, or finally asking that cute girl/boy out, we encourage you to shake the nerves, go out there, and JUST DO IT! (Old meme is old). HEY DDR'S! So, how 'bout these graphics, huh?! You like them? I’ve been messing around with After Effects and I can’t get enough of it! So much fun! Fortunately, I have some experience with other Adobe products (Flash, Premier, Photoshop) so that significantly reduces the learning curve. The program is a blast and I highly recommend that you try it if you have a youtube channel and you wanna take your videos to the next level!
Now on to some sad-ish news. I was supposed to fly down to Mississippi next week to spend a month writing new music with my bother Nate (Baasik), but he got deployed to Haiti yesterday to take part in emergency relief efforts for Hurricane Mathew. While I’m very proud of him, and glad he’ll be helping with a noble cause, It will also be dangerous, so please keep him in your prayers, as well as all the families who have been affected.
