I know I mentioned it on the last ES video I did, but this time I actually beat the Mysterious Unison. (I kind of ignored the game for a few months.) It was fun, and Jazz and Falsetto are preeeetty much unstoppable. (Jazz's last weapon gives you 20% health back for all the damage you inflict. And Jazz is kind of a powerhouse.) So I think now I'll actually try out Encore Mode, even though I wish I had the game for PS3 because of all the extra stuff they put in. Alas.
So, if you've never heard of Eternal Sonata, I would check it out. I really enjoyed the battle system, it looks gorgeous, and obviously it's going to have good music. My biggest complaint about it would probably be the story. While they have some crazy deep ideas that they often throw at you and their side stories are pretty awesome, the overarching plot is really weak and honestly, I could never make sense of the ending. Chopin never felt necessary or really did anything until BAM AT THE ENDING SUDDENLY HE'S THE MOST IMPORTANT and just... I don't know, he was kind of the least interesting--except for Beat. God, I hated Beat. They just never really did much with Chopin, and what they did do was just empty fluff trying to be deep. I think they could have done some awesome things by connecting the world to y'know, Chopin. Since it's his dream and shit.
Anyway, I'm really happy with this, although the song's... odd to edit to. c': One day I'll make a coherent ES video and not just my favorite scenes mashed together.
