this version debuted at the first Knife Party set in 2011 August at Space, Ibiza. famously known for having the "sound of the wrecking ball" pre-drop sample and otherwise being identical to the version that'd end up on release. the sample was apparently removed because KP never managed to get it cleared. this version would show up in their 2011 september ukf guest mix and 2011 october set @ webster hall.

interestingly, if you upload this version to youtube it'll be claimed as "Crush On You (Knife Party Remix - DJ Mix Edit)", which may indeed be its official title.
