Using the Blastersmiths UK wiring and spring kit I will show you how to bring your Stampede up to elite performance standards for less than £20. This Kit has been discontinued, the new one works differently, using a relay and 3s Lipo. This mod will still work, you just need the spring, wire, an IRFZ44N MOSFET, an LED and a resistor.
UPDATE- You should add a 5Amp Blade Fuse in the positive battery wire, in the battery tray area where you can reach it. This is to protect the motor from a possible overload caused by some elite mags or wear in the cycle control mechanism.
Part one of the series, more to follow as soon as I can edit them! Performance data on the spring swap coming soon.
Thanks to Corey who let me mod his blaster for science!
