I bought couple of these great kits from Oznernerd, with a view to testing the spring against the 5kg Orange Mod Works one. The results were surprising.

Neil asked me to clarify that his spring manufacturer uses the highest quality spring wire, the composition of which is far more consistent in both chemical composition and physical thickness tolerances.
I also believe that the Orange Mod Works spring is probably closer to the 7kg that is confirmed for this spring. I will look at ways to test spring weights for better comparisons.
