Unlike Jupiter and Saturn, whose cores appear fuzzy and partially dissolved, Neptune’s core is thought to be solid. A compact, immovable world-within-a-world. It may be roughly the mass of Earth itself, made from metals and exotic ices compressed so intensely that they’re forced into an ultra-dense solid state instead of melting.
Thousands of kilometres of material press down on it…locking an entire world in place, forever unseen.
