Neon Knights was the champion team in the Metal League tournament of the 3rd season of Heavy Metal Machines. The competition united teams from various countries worldwide, but Neon Knight’s talent caught the attention of other teams and spectators.
Assembled by players from Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine, their squad went through different formations since Heavy Metal Machines' 1st South American Championship until now. Their first captain left, making one of them - called RePullse - take the leadership. He built a new team and called for a vote to a new name between the teammates. Then one of them - Executor - suggested Neon Knights.
Today, the captain RePullse affirms that “if you play regularly, your skill will increase and become equal to the top teams.” He continues saying that the most important thing is a team-play feeling, where you can understand your teammates without any words, only by movements in the arenas. In other words, as all kinds of sports, to start training as soon as possible is the secret behind a successful path to victory. In their case, after winning 5 of the 6 stages of the Qualifiers plus going through the Playoffs, all those victories led them to the first place of the Metal League, and the biggest part of the money prize pool.
On May 25th another Metal League starts, for players of all levels and from anywhere, with a R$15.000,00 prize pool, roughly $3,700.00. The matches happen every Saturday, from 4 pm - 10 pm (GMT 0), with the Playoffs scheduled to July 6th. This season will occur on the South American server, following a rotation rule where the 3rd season was played on the European server and the next season will be held on the North American server.
