It just happens to be Neil Young’s 80th birthday today so I figured it was a good day to share this one.

Both Levon Helm and Rick Danko played on this great track from Young’s 1974 album “On The Beach.” This groove has such a swampy and funky feel to it. Only Levon could have come up with this and played it that way. I can’t think of any other songs in Young’s catalog that have such a unique feel like this.
