I bought this tiny $12 Newer Basics M20 Pro Fill Light to see if it could improve my action camera footage indoors.

In this video, I unbox the light, test all of its brightness settings, mount it to my Xtra Edge action camera, and compare footage with the light OFF and ON.

The light has:
• Low, medium, and high brightness
• Strobe mode
• USB-C charging
• Built-in battery indicator
• Magnetic mounting
• Camera mounting clip

I was especially interested in seeing how much of a difference it would make when recording indoors, where action cameras can struggle with low light.
