Associate member Neeshay Waseem on why people should vote in the IOP Council elections.

Hi, my name is Neeshay Waseem and I am an associate member and campus ambassador for the Institute of Physics and I think that it is very important to vote in these Council elections because it allows us to choose the people who will represent our Institute in future events, as well as shape the future of our Institute, which is very important. 


The Institute of Physics is a highly esteemed organisation, focused on inspiring more and more people to learn about physics, as well as drawing together who are either studying or working in this field already, which is why it is very important to vote in these elections, because we have a chance to choose people who will be focused on promoting our ethos. 


This will be my first time voting in these Council elections and I'm very excited to be voting because it allows me to choose people who I think will make a positive impact towards our society, which is why you should vote today and do not hesitate. Thank you so much!
