I once saw a VTuber playing this game for a little bit, and it seemed extremely fun! Especially since I enjoy puzzles. It costed me like $0.60 on Steam, so I decided to buy it and give it a go.
The game was super fun and relaxing, and before I knew it I was accidentally speedrunning the game because I wanted to replay it over and over.
Over the short period of time speedrunning this game, I was able to get a time a little under 9 minutes as my best: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVGB6LsYKi4&t=305s
One night, I decided to make a TAS of just ONE level to see how it would be like, and it looked hilarious and awesome at the same time! After that, I continuously had the need to make a full game TAS, which leads to today , where its all finally made.
Altogether, I mostly enjoyed this small project.
Levels 1-20 were fairly simple. Matter of fact, they were all made at the exact same time, and werent hard to put together
Levels 21-38 were easy, but long to make. And it was still the same, all made at once.
And as for levels 39 and 40... They both were done individually.... But level 40 was the one that took the most time out of the whole project, and it was also the main reason this video wasnt made sooner, it seemed like too much of a nightmare....
But all of my work paid off, and I made a video I am very proud of. I havent had this much enjoyment making a video in quite a while, and I think it came out very well.
Even with that said, I know this can definitely be improved upon, if anyone wants to do so. The stalling time between each level is a little long, and level 40 was mostly done poorly. You can maybe cut off around 15-20 seconds if you tried really hard, but thats not for me to do. Im happy with what I have.")

I cant seem to find the specific user(s), but for quite a while, Ive seen people flex about beating Endless Nightmare without getting hit.
Its really not impressive, and it involves very little to no skill to complete.
I completed this on my 1st try (Livesplit attempt counter says 24, since I used my normal Any% splits), and I actually went slower than necessary. I couldve been a tiny bit more risky in a few areas, but I simply chose not to, because I didnt want to deal with this for longer than I realistically should.
After everything, I got a 15 minute run. ~30 seconds slower than my real Any% pb.
Beating this game hitless means very little to nothing, and Im only uploading this as a filler and a demonstration, while Im working on better projects.
Id also like for everyone to be aware that, if I wanted to, I couldve done an exploit where Dark Angel is incapable of moving: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayraqdA3_QM so I automatically lost like 6 seconds for the sake of doing a challenge run that isnt even hard in the first place.
If that doesnt help you comprehend how pointless and simple this challenge is, I dont know what will.

Ive been thinking about doing this category for a long while, as I knew the Darkness skip would come in handy. I only saved about 9 seconds, compared to the previous world record, but its nice to say that I took back another record after many months of stubbornness.
Sub 5 is 100% possible with improved routing. Dont know if Ill go for it though.

For those who may not know what a TAS is, T.A.S. (Tool Assisted Speedrun/Superplay) is the process of doing a speedrun, while using tools to manipulate many factors of a game, in order to create a theoretical perfect speedrun.
The term tools can often refer to many aspects, such as using mods that manipulate luck factors, speed, savestates, or fully custom tools that give you internal information.
More specifically to this video, this run uses an auto player mod made by the NSO modder, Frostworth.
This auto player basically runs off of code that attempts to do every action as soon as it is capable of doing so, making for the most optimal time for everything.

Decided to come back to this for some reason and beat my previous TAS by 15.34 seconds (IGT) :P
What is TAS?: T.A.S. stands for Tool Assisted Speedrun/Superplay.
TAS is the process of using 3rd party software(s) in order to have an advantage in a game to create theoretical gameplay that a human would often not be capable of doing in real time (unless youre willing to waste hundreds of hourse of your time). This includes, but isnt limited to: Removing RNG (Random Number Generation (Randomness)), slowing down game speed, or using some form of a macro to do inputs for you.
In this case, I used a software in order to slow down the game speed so I can have more time to think ahead than an average player, and (mostly near the end) shoot faster than an average player can usually shoot(/spam spacebar).
(I still sucked, cuz some keys wouldnt be processed (I dont get how thats possible for a game that has 3 buttons, but God always has a way)).
It should also go without saying that most (if not somehow all) official speedrun leaderboards on speedrun.com do NOT allow TASes, and its made more for the sake of fun and seeing theoretical capabilities.
