WE ARE SO BACK!
After nearly 6 MONTHS, I have finally returned with a new song.
I will make this description extra lengthy since it's been a while.
These last 6 months have been really rough. My life has been changing with my age and I have been slowly taking on more responsibilities as a young adult. On top of that, I was slapped with the biggest writers' block I have ever seen. From September until early January, I was sitting unproductively at my computer, trying to come up with an instrumental that I could use, but nothing I made ended up sounding good enough for me. That is when I decided to get some help.
I reached out to Sye Sanesaki, a new friend of mine that I got to know better over the last couple months. Within a couple hours, he provided me a melody, and from which I created this song. From then on, it was smooth sailing... until I started working on vocals.
As for my collaborator, ꌗꀤꋪꍟꈤ absolutely knocked it out of the park with her vocals. I could not have asked for anything better. Her vocals her very simple to do, but I couldn't say the same for myself.
I had just teased the song for the first time when I realized that I hadn't recorded my vocals properly. I thought it was going to be an easy re-record, but that could not have been more false. I tried anything and everything I could think of, but nothing could fix the vocals and make them sound better. I found myself sitting in front of my computer, only a few days from release, tired and wasted, desperately trying to figure out how to fix my parts, until I decided to ask for help.
And the person who saved the day(hehe pun), was none other than Sye.
Within a minute, Sye completely fixed my vocals, making them sound exactly like I wanted, allowing me to finish up the vocals just a few hours before I uploaded this premiere.
Finally, I was done.
I want to thank all of my friends(you know who you are) for helping me, both emotionally and musically. I am pretty sure I would have gone insane by now, if it wasn't for them, this song might not have been possible, and I would probably still be stuck behind my computer, trying to write again.
