We had Valentine’s Day on the brain, so the team decided to make something you can’t buy off a shelf. We started with padauk, fired up the Smartshop® M, and cut a heart-shaped box with a rose-and-heart carve on the lid.

This one is a great example of how different bits and tool paths work together: clearing material efficiently, defining clean edges, and then slowing down for the detail carving that makes the top design stand out.
