I made this yesterday but practically forgot to upload it. Its VERY short, and there wont be a longer version. But I love it.
I couldnt find the whats a soulmate quote other than in a vids with added music, so I decided to download the DC episode it was from (I havent watched DC, I just searched it on google). Turned out it was from the series finale, and i went through the episode while searching for the quote. I got curious on who did Joey choose in the end, and I skimmed through the episode, and in one of the last scenes, the Dawson/Joey farewell, I found the quote I used in this video. I fell in love with it and it immediately made me think of Delena and Brucas. But since the quote gives the vibe that after all, despite that connection, the people dont end up together, I didnt wanna jinx Delena. So I made a Brucas vidlet. The quote just fits them so well I shivered. For me, it sums up what Brooke and Lucas had (just like what is a soulmate quote does). I tried to show it, and I hope the vid is emotional even if its 20 and something seconds.

Ok, this is crap, I hate it, but since I havent made a DE video since... Well, June 30th I uploaded my Damon/Elena/Rebekah vid (which is not purely DE), but my last all-about-delena video was the one about 3x19. As I was saying, I havent made a Delena video in a long time, and I know most of you my subbers have hit the subscription button because of Damon&Elena, I made this, even if I had 0 inspiration. Its crap, but I couldnt do more. Deal with it.
Tbh, idk if I can still say I ship Delena. If I do, its just because she is who Damon wants and loves. Otherwise she doesnt deserve him, she doesnt deserve Stefan. Instead of evolving, Elena has gotten worse in the course of the series (my opinion). Especially when it comes to Damon. One of the reasons they became an OTP for me back in s1 of TVD was that she was the only person who bothered, who took the time to see below the surface and try and understand Damon. That has been gone for a while now. Instead, she, intentionally or not, every now and then, too often may i say, rips his heart out from his chest, puts in the ground and starts jumping on it. With shoes with high heels. After she left him to possibly die all alone, she now reminds him about those two stolen moments just to practically tell him they didnt matter. I am just glad Damon put her in her place. I am sure they will happen eventually, but I dont think I will be that happy about it, cause after all the downfall of Elenas character, my dream is for Damon and Stefan to both leave her behind, go enjoy the world together and find two woman who will make each of them happy. I am so sorry for the delay of the results, but I had tons of exams. But finally, they are hear!

For this round, you will have to make a video about a character. And since most probably if I let you choose, I suppose all entries will be about the same characters (Thorin, Bilbo, Kili, Legolas, Thranduil, Frodo), I assigned each one of you with a character to vid.
If you want to change the character youve been given, you contact me. But it cant be a character another vidder has been assigned. For example if vidder A was assigned character X, but they want to change it, they can. But if the character Y they want has already been given to vidder B, they will have to pick another that has not been given to anyone.
if you have character that is in both tilogies, you can use scenes from both of them.
The video must be new and at least 1 minute long. No limitation on the type of vid (sad, happy, epic, etc). It can even be a crack vid if you want.
You can use any music you want, it can be any lenght over 1 minute - if you want it can be 1 minute, if you want it can be 10.
You must put TMEVC in the title.
Post the videos as comments on this video.
Deadline: February 28th. Its pretty long, but if you need extension, let me know before February 18th so that I can let the other vidders know too.

Ah, Delena. I do still love them to death, even if my passion for TVD is long gone or at least is definitely not the same as before. And this season has been amazing for Damon and Elena, probably the best one imo. And that scene in 6x13 was pure epicness and it just SCREAMED Make a journey video. Though this is not the exact thing you imagine when you think of this type of vids. Firstly, its like (almost?) all in Elenas point of view. And I tried to do sth - I separated the scene from 6x13, and after every part, I tried to tell a little story or to show something, a memory or memories linked to that part of Elenas speech. I hope I succeeded.

OMG! OMG! OMG! It finally happened!
Honestly, Im so glad they prolonged it so much, it was totally worth it!
It was perfect!
Now, rant begings!
The whole episode was amazing, every single thing! Well, totally wanted to smack Tyler, he was such a douche bag. But apart from that - wow. What I loved most - Stefan&Damon, the compulsion scene, and of course Delena :)
Now, onto Damon&Elena.
In their first scene, the way they look at each other, word choices, Elenas smile - it was there that I felt there would be some game changer in their relationship during this episode. The way Damon stood in front of her with Klaus was just so cute The moment where
he gave her the keys and sort-of-held her hands was beautiful, cause sometimes the small things mean a lot. The kitchen scene - as almost all of their kitchen scenes - meaningful and epic! I loved how Damon knew exactly what to say to calm her down a bit, and how he comforted her. The look at me, its gonna be ok, how he held her head , the reassurance that they will find a way to fix thing - it was so strong and emotional it made me shiver.
And my favorite part - the porch scene (. Once again, Damon is 100% there for her, she comforts her, and reassures her she made the right choice. Elena thanked him - something that was long overdue. She showed she knows how much hes doing for her, and that she appreciates it. Then we have a small confession that matters so much: i dont know what id do if you werent here. Hes a part of her life, an essential one. And the way she looked at him - the gratitude, the warmth, the appreciation, the emotion... And then Damon once again chose to do the right thing - he told her the reason for Stefans betrayal, which shows respect and love for both her and Stefan. He admitted he wished Stefans choice had been selfish, cause that would lift the guilt of loving his brothers girl. Notice that Elena stood there like she was frozen, I think she was too overwhelmed. And then Damon turned around. After months of not acting (truly) on his feelings, sucking it all up and making sacrifices, he decides to go va bank and do what he wants and needs. He goes and does something that hed actually have reason to feel guilty - he kisses her. I think Elena felt what was coming the second he turned around, but its just my opinion. But she didnt push him away, she didnt back away from the kiss, it was two sided. I think the kiss itself was beautiful - so emotional and beautiful, tender, and yet it held passion. Just epic! I loved how she touched his hand on the side of her neck. And when they pulled away, she just looked at him with such an emotional and yet confused look. And instead of pushing her to admit feelings or talk about it, he left. Which to me means so much - such a contrast with the Damon we saw in the bedroom scene in 2x01.
I have no idea how they will handle their relationship from now on. But this kiss was worth waiting for 2 and a half seasons!

This song means so much to me. Not only its so amazingly beautiful, but it played in a huge milestone scene for my other OTP - Brooke&Lucas (if you wanna check the scene, its in 3x09). So its especially dear to me, and I decided Damon&Elenas first real kiss was worth this song and the song was worth them :)

Ok, I had the idea to do this before the movie came out - I imagined it the first time I saw the trailer, but I never had the inspiration to do it. But a few nights ago I re-watched the movie (oh, how much I love this film) with my boyfriend and suddenly I felt huge inspiration to do it. I kind of like how it came out, though it could be better. But the decision on whether its good or not is in your hands :)
