Normally in the Japanese run, it is only @iDestyKK. However, for this part, Dr. DOOM returns! The collaboration from the USA run of the game transcends into the Japanese version as well.

After taking down Wolf, Kenji, and Angie, Darius's area becomes accessible. It's time to finish things off. Because this is an Exotic playthrough, we decided to make the most out of it by getting the big 3 vehicles. That is: Lamborghini Gallardo, Lamborghini Murciélago, and Porsche Carrera GT. The Gallardo and Carrera GT are Dr. DOOM's. The Murciélago is @iDestyKK's. We made sure to have an even distribution of these vehicles used throughout the area.

Unlike the USA run, a few tricks were utilised to save time and hassle. For one, when @iDestyKK was in a pursuit, she opted to immediately get busted. The game is saved prior to the pursuit starting. So get busted and then reload the save. The penalty for getting busted disappears and the pursuit is skipped. Second, the Lamborghini Gallardo was used against Wolf instead of the Lotus. We humiliated him once with it already. This time we just wanted to get the race done.

This region also features rematches in the canyon with Wolf, Kenji, and Angie. Regarding Kenji (52:20) and Angie (1:17:13), we simply passed them up. Regarding Wolf (20:34), we did it the long way. It is possible to pass him up near the bridges. But we didn't bother going for it. Instead, we opted for a blowout by beating him with 54k+ points remaining.

When facing Darius, we made sure to keep up the tradition of passing up bosses to win instantly. So yes we do pass him up. In the uncut run, we found out Darius's car upgrades are equal to the player's. So when we tuned the Carrera GT for acceleration, Darius wasn't passable. But at neutral tuning, Darius is easily passable at the 67% mark.

Finally, this is obvious, but it's a spliced run. And I will make no effort to hide such splices. The most obvious splices are in the canyon duel rematches.
