On the 27th and 28th of July 2022, Streit Group in partnership with National Enterprise Corporation (NEC) held a successful launch of the NEC-Streit Armored Vehicles Factory at the shores of Lake Kyoga in Nakasongola, Uganda.
The event was graced by high-profile guests including the President of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who was the chief guest on the first day, the Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs Hon Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja, the chief guest on the second day, the Chief of Defence forces General Wilson Mbadi, the Managing Director of NEC, Lieutenant General James Mugira, State Ministers, and Members of Parliament among other members of the public.
