In 1925 the merchant Joel Paulsson from Halmstad, born in Knäred, bought a region at the Rams-hall mountain in Veinge and this area was named Neboparken (The Nebopark). He built a lookout tower, Nebotornet (The Nebo Tower) and this has its biblical origin in the name of Nebo, the mountain, from where Moses and the Israelites gazed into the land of Canaan.
From its lookout tower in Veinge, he could in good visibility, see 24 churches - from Hov in the far southwest, via Hishult in the southeast and the northwest Kvibille to Breared in the northeast.
