I was taking the bike for a ride (at the worst time - late afternoon) and some twit driving a grey Toyota Yaris realized they were in the wrong lane (on ramp to the freeway). They jammed on the brakes pretty well coming to a stop , nearly got rear ended by a red car (horns blasting, tyres locked up). The red car had a good reaction, swerved to miss the grey car and then hit the accelerator to get out of there (before I rear ended them). I was under maximum braking, had cold tyres and was on an uneven surface. The rear tyre on my bike locked up and the bike was hopping around a bit (can hear it).
I'm just glad nobody slammed me up the rear. I did have a decent distance between myself and the red car, but that quickly disappears when someone jams on the brakes. Cars will typically always outbrake a motorcycle.
For those wondering, the grey Toyota Yaris driver did break the law by crossing the solid white line (there for a reason), not to mention the accident they nearly caused.
