This is a standard 1080p GoPro HeroHD where the IR-cut filter near the CCD has been removed. Most foliage, trees included, appear to be white since they reflect a lot of infrared (IR) radiation from the sun. Normally the IR-cut filter blocks or reflects this portion of the spectrum from the sun so that the camera does not produce washed out images like the one in this video.
